Alonso Correa Shines in Men's Round 1 Heat 3 Surfing at Paris 2024

In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, Alonso Correa from Peru emerged victorious in the Men's Round 1 Heat 3 of the surfing event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Held on July 27, 2024, at the renowned Teahupo'o in Tahiti, this heat showcased some of the best surfers from around the globe. Correa's performance was nothing short of spectacular, securing his place in the next round with a total score of 14.33 points.

Correa, making his Olympic debut, demonstrated his prowess, riding the waves with confidence and finesse. His standout wave scored an impressive 8.50 points, with judges praising his technique and style. The young surfer, who started his journey with his father, has participated in five World Surfing Games, achieving his best result of 5th in 2024.
